Are MySpace, Facebook Safe for Kids?

ARE MYSPACE TYPE SITES SAFE? » Blog Archive » My Opinion about … – As a user of Myspace, I think that it is each individual person’s responsibility to protect themselves when using a site like Myspace. I don’t think that the creators of Myspace should be held responsible when teenage kids are communicating with adults and possible sex offenders. These kids have the option of privatizing their profiles and not accepting people they don’t know as friends. As Facebook crosses the 200 million mem

How Do Dinosaurs Play With Their Friends

What if a dinosaur’s friends come to play? Does he mope, does he pout if he can’t get his way? Does he hide all his dump trucks, refusing to share? Does he throw his friends’ coloring books up in the air? Time and time again, children are told to “play nice.” This brilliantly illustrated board book is packed with rhymes that will teach children how. Mark Teague’s laugh-aloud illustrations, along with Jane Yolen’s playful text, will show children that “playing nice” can be easy and fun. Perfect for parents to read aloud with their children, this book is as humorous as it is instructive.

This book helps teach kids the very important lesson of sharing and it rhymes. My son is only two so he mostly enjoys looking at the pictures. He thinks that it is funny for a dinosaur to play with kids. It’s great for discussion in toddler language.

Some kid's toys stand the test of time while others slip away forever to be forgotten. We all had our favorite toys when we were young. One of my favorites was a yoyo . My friends and I used to play with our yo yo all day. You could spend hours upon hours totally zoned in on getting that thing to do the latest trick. Do you remember the trick called walk the dog?
